After you choose the challenge, fill out the information on the 2nd page for that challenge using the Type of PDF app. Then, choose a creative way to present the information abut that challenge to your classmates. This might be making an iMovie trailer or a pic collage on your iPad (or another app you think would work well) or making posters or a book using paper and pencil. The design is up to you!

example of a great focus question from jason's gold:
FOCUS QUESTION #1: GROUP A, typed by Erica G.:
The characteristic of the action and adventure genre in Jason's Gold is suspense. The author leaves us in suspense at the end of chapter 3 by asking a question. A quote to represent my thinking is on page 19, " ...and we have withdrawn the $500 Father left you." Now that his brothers have taken Jason's $500 to get him to the gold he's left with nothing. How will he make it to the Klondike? Another aspect of action and adventure is adventure because Jason went out on a journey across the country all alone. This is what we learned about the action and adventure genre in Jason's Gold. FOCUS QUESTION #1: GROUP B, typed by Julia J. (UNFINISHED): The evidence we have for what features of the action/adventure genre are evident in the first two chapters are first, people are in a frenzy to get to Alaska. Second, Jason had to take many trains to get back to his home in Seattle from New York. Third, focus questions and vocabulary by chapter:BEFORE READING: serendipity
